Mobile Phones SIM and Handset Forensics

Synergy Forensics Ltd. now have the very latest technology available to allow forensic recovery and analysis of data from mobile phones and SIM cards, including previously deleted data such as erased text messages.

A tamper proof read only clone of the original SIM card together with 2 extra copies of the cloned SIM for the defence and the prosecution to examine are provided.

The phone handset is also examined in a method that prevents the contents of the memory being altered whilst the analysis takes place.

A clear and concise technical report detailing the evidence recovered from the handset and SIM will then be provided.

The information contained within the report gained from the analysis of the SIM card will far exceed that which is normally available from a layman’s examination of the call and message history logs contained in the phone memory alone.

A report can be produced containing the information from just the SIM card. This is useful should the phone unit be damaged beyond repair, if the handset is simply unavailable for examination or if there are multiple SIM cards but only one handset. Whenever possible, it is preferable to have both the phone and the SIM card for analysis.
