DATA RECOVERY

Synergy Forensics is pleased to offer its customers a first class data recovery service.

Data loss can occur for many reasons, as a result of accidental damage, simple hardware damage and sometimes as a result of user error and even intentional malicious deletion.

We are able to offer a range of recovery solutions to suit the needs of our customers, including a 24hr call-out service. In some circumstances, we will undertake recovery on our client's premises in order to limit ‘down-time’ and inconvenience.

In cases where data is recovered from media that is damaged beyond economical repair, we will reconstruct the data on to new, similar hardware in order to ensure continuity to your business.

Data Cleansing

When computer and phone related equipment is no longer needed, sold or to be disposed of, it is imperative to remove personal and business data from the hard drives and internal memory of the device. We provide our clients with a secure cleansing service to ensure that all data is completely removed. We will supply you with certificates and statements to confirm the integrity of the drive cleansing.

E-Discovery

Electronic Discovery is the process of securing, searching and locating electronic data (including emails, spreadsheets and documents) on a computer or over a network storage (HDD, memory card, USB stick) with the intent of using the identified material as part of a civil legal case.

The discovery exercise allows the contents of the storage device to be provided in its simplest form so that our customers can decide which elements of the data may be important, rather than wading through endless reams of information that 'might' be relevant.

Our technical specialists are able to consult with customers to establish the precise requirements of E-Discovery.

We are able to present our findings in a number of different formats, ranging from a simple list to an intricate database.

Data Conversion

In some cases, the conversion of data is required. Previously, we have been successful in the conversation of data from one media type to another, for example VHS to DVD. We have found that this requirement is particularly prevalent in cases where historic allegations have been made or where the facility to view the particular item is not available in Court.
